Secondary Liquid Fuel: Blending of Solvents, Oils and Organic Liquids
We have been blending liquid wastes into secondary liquid fuel, also known as cemfuel, for over 25 years. This fuel allows UK cement and lime manufacturers to displace the use of fossil fuels, thereby lowering the nation’s carbon footprint
How we can help
Our secondary liquid fuel facility, near Sheffield, is the most technologically advanced facility of its type in the country, capable of producing 50,000 tonnes per year of high quality feedstock for the UK cement industry.
Our 25 years of experience, and highly qualified team of chemists, are capable of blending a wide variety of wastes into our fuel. Our process can blend liquid material from bulk tankers and packages of all sizes.
Typical feedstocks for this process include:
- Paints, Inks & Coatings wastes
- Liquid Waste Oils and fuels of all duty statuses
- Waste Biofuels
