Our Materials Recovery Facilities (MRF) Infrastructure

As recycling volumes increase we help customers to find progressive ways to handle recovered materials, minimising contamination and finding a competitive market for recyclates.

Materials recovery is a key element in many of our contracts.  Our experience shows consumers are more likely to recycle where authorities provide a co-mingled collection with recyclables separated and sorted before reprocessing.

We use advanced separation technology as well as manual separation to recover paper and card, drinks cans and steel cans, aluminium, glass, plastic and wood, supplying high-quality material so manufacturers can use it to make recycled products.

We operate Materials Recovery Facilities all over the UK, and have others in the planning stages.  Together these will process hundreds of thousands of tonnes of materials recovered across the UK each year.
